Caribbean Cashew Smoothie

I love getting extra nutrients from smoothies and with an island twist? Heck yes!

Ingredients: 

4 c loosely packed greens

1 c almond milk

1 c coconut water

1 frozen banana

1/2 c frozen mango

1 c frozen pineapple

1/2 c cashews

1 to 2 dates

1 1/2 tea coconut extract

Add all ingredients in the order listed into high powered blender. Blend until smooth. Makes. 2 large delicious smoothies!

Yummy Summer Drink

Oh just thinking of this drink makes my mouth water! Learn how to make the best summer drink in this video. BUT wait... You really can drink it all year if you want! It is so tasty.

Hope you love it as much as I do!

Use a 20 oz container

Fill 1/2 with ice

Squeeze in 1/4/ of a lime or a lemon

Add 8-9 drops now better stevia

*if you are making the fancy version add chopped fruit

Top off with water, give it a little stir and sip away!

It’s delicious and it is good for you!

Healthy Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

8 oz almond milk

1 Tbl cacoa powder

1 Tbl maca powder

1 1/2 Tbl honey


Heat almond milk and add the rest of the ingredients. Then mix with a milk frother if you have one (they are the best and super cheap to pick up and it makes the biggest difference!) Then sit and enjoy!

ANOTHER DELICIOUS OPTION 


Ingredients:

8 oz almond milk

1 1/2 Tbl Chatfield’s carob powder

1 1/2 Tbl honey

Same instructions as above! Heat the milk, add ingredients and mix with a milk frother! It’s a little different in taste. I keep both on hand and mix it up.

(The complete truth is that the carob powder is better for you and tastes fabulous but sometimes you just really want that chocolatey taste and in that case I go for the cocoa!) Cheers

Chocolate Goodness Smoothie

Folks, it one of my fav’s. It just tastes so delish and it makes you feel good too. 

Ingredients:
4 cups spinach
2 c almond milk
2 scoops @sunwarriortribe chocolate protien powder
5 Tbl cocoa
1 tea coconut syrup (to sweeten)
6 ice cubes

Place ingredients in high speed blender. Blend until all mixed together! Makes 2 servings. Easy and yummy!

Peanut Goodness Smoothie

In the mood for peanut butter? This will do it. Creamy and fresh and delish!

Ingredients:

3 cups spinach & baby kale 

1 1/2  cup almond milk 

1 frozen banana 

1 cup frozen blueberries

2 Tbl PB2 powder

2 Tbl creamy peanut butter

3 ice cubes

Add into high speed blender and blend until smooth. Makes 2 delicious servings!

Almond Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

3 cups spinach 

1 1/2  cup almond milk 

1 serving of vegan vanilla protein parentheses (I do whatever equals 15 g of protein) 

1 frozen banana 

1 teaspoon almond extract

 5 ice cubes

Add into high speed blender and blend until smooth. Delish!

Chocolate Green Smoothie

Tea Tips

Hi y'all! Listen up! Did you know that tea should be brewed no longer than 3 minutes? If tea brews too long it makes it bitter. Knowing this changed tea for me. I wish I had known this as I brewed my first cup!  
I love that tea can help me set aside cravings for less desirable things, at least according to my body! 
Also in the pic are my two favorite teas right now. Seriously I love them! Not even necessary to add sweetener! Have a go and see what you think!

Virgin Carmel Apple Sangria

Virgin Carmel Apple Sangrias

 

Ingredients:

14 oz apple cider

½ cup Torani carmel syrup

36 oz sparkling water

Crushed ice

Diced apples

Carmel

Brown sugar

 

Mix all the liquids together.  Dip the rim of you glasses lightly into carmel and then into brown sugar. Then fill glasses with diced apples and ice, then add the drink.  Sip and enjoy!

 

You can use THIS TIP to keep your apples from going brown.
